Nursery Care Providers needed
We are seeking sensitive, dependable, loving nursery care providers for Sunday mornings (and other occasional times).
The position is for employment Sunday mornings, 10:45 - 12:15, on a rotating schedule with other employees. Flexibility to be available at other times is helpful.
We seek employees who are adept at teaching small children, infants to 4-years old, appropriate social behaviors and other values that are in line with the mission of our church.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In cooperation with the other Nursery Care Team, provide a safe and loving environment by:
Supervising appropriate play activities
Planning and coordinating age-appropriate activities
Setting up and Cleaning up Nursery
Changing diapers or assisting with toilet use
Interacting and engaging with children in a variety of manners
QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer knowledge of first aid and Infant/Child CPR procedures - or be willing to take training course
Sensitivity to the needs of young children
Ability to communicate: with children, parents, Nursery Team, Staff, and members of the congregation
Knowledge and understanding of basic principles of child development helpful
Experience working with young children preferred
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Frequent, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting 40 lbs. or greater
Often noisy work environment
Must use telephone and computer for communication with staff and supervisor
The Nursery Care Provider will work Sunday mornings, 10:45 through 12:15, on a rotating basis with other staff of the Nursery Team. Adult Religious Education classes, as well as Congregational and Youth meetings, will lead to occasional longer hours - whether on Sunday or another day of the week.
