Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Wayne

Charles, with his wife Jacqueline, and Mayor Tom Henry, receiving the first Key to the Fort in September of 2008.

Charles was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Wayne for over forty years.  He joined the congregation May 24,1970 and was active as long as possible.  He served on the Board of Trustees, as President for two terms, as our Denominational Affairs chair, on the Personnel Committee, the Membership Committee, and served on the Unitarian Universalist Association's Commission on Appraisal, helping write the report “Belonging - the Meaning of Membership in 2001”.

Charles received the Founders’ Award from the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Wayne in 2006, honoring all his work for our church community.
